SERVICES
Our clients are making the transition
to independent living and are in need
due to certain life situations.
We help them make a house into a home.
We help individuals and families who are:
-
Moving into their own apartment after living on the streets or in a shelter
-
Escaping a domestic violence situation
-
Getting back on their feet after a personal crisis such as job loss or addiction
-
Fleeing from war, persecution, or a natural disaster as refugees
-
Homeless and without support for a variety of other reasons
INFORMATION FOR CLIENTS
In order to receive help, you need to have a referral from one of our Partner Agencies. The agency will determine if you qualify, and if you do, they will send us a referral so you can come to the warehouse to pick out furniture.
Ask your caseworker if they are a Partner Agency and if they are not, please refer them to our website. You can find a list of current Partner Agencies at the bottom of this page.
On your shopping date, volunteers will walk with you through the warehouse as you pick out the furniture and other items.
INFORMATION FOR AGENCIES
If your agency works with people who need help transitioning from homelessness, we would like to talk to you about partnering!
The first step is for you to meet with us to make sure that there is alignment between your mission and ours. We want you to be comfortable when referring your clients to us and we want to ensure that you are fluent with our criteria and how we operate.
